cat engine display for a 1lw

    i am needing some information on running a cat ed on a 1lw. i have been told that the 1lw was before the cat ed was offered and there is no way to hook one up. thanks for the help.

    The 1 LW serial number is a 3406E (EUI) Electronic Unit Injected engine). Cat ET software can be hooked up on this model.

    Yes you can put a Cat display in a 1LW. We have one from factory, not to mention 3 earlier 5EKs that also came with it from factory. Any of the 3406Es can have a cat display hooked up. My 2ws never came with one form factory but I put one in

    thanks underpsi. is there a harness anywhere that allows you to plug it right in or does it have to be hard wired in somewhere?

    some trucks come with factory with a plug underneath the dash panel whether it had one in it or not. Its a square plug with im pretty sure 6 wires, the most important of the wires are two that are twisted together. It shouldn't be that hard to find if its there.

    If its not then its not that hard to wires it up from scratch
