Screw Truck Parking Club

Hundreds of drivers who live near or go to Buffalo know EXACTLY which truckstop you are talking about. Forty years ago that place was infamous as a place where you were likely to lose a mirror due to the narrow spaces and poor lighting. Also, there must be a lizard colony nearby....

 

I saw a couple of those signs at a gas station across from a TS here in W NC. Said gas station will run you off as they don't have room for trucks with trailers. These were just standard car spots.

 

I just saw on Bonehead Truckers they took over parking at the Flying J in Iowa exit 40. I'm waiting for the big announcement of Love's going all in with them.

 

Loves claims they wont ever charge for parking... I aint holding my breath either..

 

It’s been that way for awhile - I posted about this same TS a year and a half ago. It looks like all Eagles Landings have teamed up with The Parking Club.

 

They took all the signs at the entrance down. Tpc still has one row (next to the highway) but the rest of the lot is free.

 

I just watched that. He says multiple times, "Oh it's not Truck Parking Clubs fault. I'm not blaming them." No, if you're the one taking my money then you are the one I'm going to blame. This place is getting to be like the PFJ. Just take the money and when you show up and the spots are taken, or they didn't vet the property owner good enough, the trucker gets screwed. I hope they go the way of all these other startups looking to make a quick easy buck off the trucking industry.
