That Petro's deli is really good. At least it was last time I was there a couple years ago. Their pork chops are mazin!

 

Yep, their deli is a cut above the usual Petro deli, for sure. They often have items you literally can't get at any other Petro. And the folks behind the counter tend to be pretty friendly, too.

 

Maybe it was because of the storm that was due to land in Louisiana sometime on Friday?

 

Week started out great,now it's pooped out down the homestretch.Hope everybody going great.
3 monts ago,I journeyed out on a weight loss mission,to lose 70 pounds,the past 3 months I've lost 30 of it,hoping by Christmas,I'll be down,be safe everybody.

It's very hard to commit to weight loss and maintain it especially in our profession. I have Crohns Disease and Ulcerative Colitis for the last 45 years and I have to watch for weight loss. Twice in my lifetime I have had over 50 lbs. losses in a 30 day span. Good luck to you in your quest.

 

Have you ever tried DMSO for your Crohn's and colitis?

 

What is DMSO? I have had so many colonoscopys to keep a check on my Chrohns. I am basically in remission as I have no symptoms at present but my latest colonoscopy shows the infected area as plain as day. The gastroenterologist has taken me off all meds as he says that I am no worse with or without them. At 75 years old and diagnosed almost 45 years ago I am luckier than most I guess. Thanks for your input.

 

DMSO - dimethyl sulfoxide - is a solvent with anti-inflammatory properties. It's approved by the FDA to treat Interstitial cystitis. It's also recognized to have positive or promising effects on Crohn's, colitis, and renal issues resulting from said conditions.

 

Thanks for the DMSO explanation. If I am considered in remission right now and not taking any meds or chemicals I think that I will thank my lucky stars and make note of DMSO in case I might need help in the future.

 

Got to LLFlex at 0915 in Louisville yesterday cuz I told them 0930 and they never set up an appt so I sat all day til 1830 cuz they had to follow the schedule and wait til every other truck was emptied or loaded before they could unload me. Of course today I get to the shipper in Bowling Green, Ky this morning for the next load and I was not given the correct pickup number so here I sit yet again….I hate that nobody wants to pickup a phone anymore and it seems like the vast majority want email or text only.
