All Cummins so far. Pretty sure they’ll just stick with the X15’s since that’s what the KW’s have, just to make life easier on the shop

The Internationals are all Carrier ComfortPros, as far as I know. They may be testing other options, but standard is diesel ComfortPros. The KW’s have Thermo King Tripac’s. Not sure the reasoning on the difference for that.

Still here and doing pretty well. I’ve been taking more hometime than usual and it’s the holidays, of course, so things have slightly slowed down over the last few months, but still averaging 12,000 or so miles a month.

Still no equipment issues to speak of. Only thing that keeps breaking is this APU about once a month lol, but they have no problems with idling when it happens, so no big deal for me.

YTD pay comes out right at 100k when factoring in per diem, so I’m happy with that for a basic door-swinging OTR job.

Still covering pretty good ground here. Have been to Hunt’s Point (by choice), Miami, and Vegas in the last 6 weeks. Back to the arctic tundra of Nebraska at the moment though lol

Appreciate the thread, I've officially added Schuster to my short list of options when I get back into trucking next year.

Edit: Are the trucks bolt-action or automagical transmission?

    Friend Thanks this.

Hope you and the Climateers are doing well. I saw a handful of ya in Mt Vernon during that winter storm right after Thanksgiving. I figured that was a rough week for you all with that storm perfectly tracking all the Climate routes.

I was up in Mankato at the Walmart DC a couple weeks ago

I don’t think they use em at all. I know they don’t by default, but I don’t even think they use them for disciplinary reasons either. The ones in our trucks don’t even have a driver facing camera option

and the charging cases on the tablets cover any camera besides the one in the back, so no worries there either. I know some folks get paranoid the tablet’s watching them lol
