We are encouraged to keep the trucks spiffy. Every 45 days we can get the truck washed at Blue Beacon on the company dime.
Of course trailers are as needed being reefers.
Frey Miller? OK or stay away?

I was just checking to see how things are going.
Do you like the lanes/shippers-receivers? How's the length of haul?
Running everything below I-80 is pretty decent and discretion in fuel routing is a really nice benefit..I've fueled in some of the most horrible truck stops in America so I know from experience. Hope you're doing well.. -
If this is addressed to me the OP, things are OK. Some might say I'm whining, not sure.
The truck leaks AC condensate from the bunk AC onto the floor which in turn is soaked up by the pad between the metal floor and the rubber sheet. I've notified the company they have not fixed.
Dash cluster goes dark 1 in 3 times while I back up. Seems odd.
Cruise control cuts out when hitting big bumps. Annoying since we need to cruise to get the past 2mph. 66 on the pedal, 68 on cruise.
The truck itself is pretty good otherwise.
The lanes and mileage I am averaging about 2 loads a week 1200 miles each. I usually arrive at the receiver 12 to 18 hours early. Sometimes they take me, most they turn me away. Sometimes I use PC to leave in those cases and return on PC so my clock is not wasted while waiting for an unload.
No one has complained or spoken to me about anything I've done incorrectly. Don't know if that means I'm and angel, or nothing to raise alarms or they just don't care.
Still better than Western ExpressSpeed_Drums, Lonesome, lual and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah I meant you..Freight is still slow right now and also they may be just feeling you out to see how you run, giving you time to get a feel for the company. Sounds like they're not micromanaging you so that's always good. It takes about 6 months to get a real feel for the company unless they're just absolutely horrible then you'll know immediately. Hopefully they get your truck issues fixed soon, but good to hear it's been a step up.

What kind of pay are you getting per week? Is it pretty good?
-
Pay is 50 CPM at about 2500 miles a week. Not great but also I only have 6 months experience and have 2 dogs with me. Those 2 factors limit my options.Speed_Drums, Lonesome and Chinatown Thank this.
-
That's decent pay per week.
Assessorial pays on top of that.
- Pay based on experience
- Performance/Safety bonus
- Paid orientation
- Practical route miles
- Stop pay
- Guaranteed detention, layover and breakdown pay
