I know that there are many drivers out there like me that don't get enough exercise but really wish that they could. I am managing type 2 diabetes and I know that regular exercise would really help with this.
The idea came to me today to try doing 8 count body builders. I had to do a quick search to refresh my memory but I did 10 of them today.
I had to pause after the 4th one to catch my breath but it felt good. I am going to continue this as a daily routine and see how it works out. I will do 10 per day and then work my way up.
    Y'all have a good day.

Never even heard of it, but I'll check it out.

Zone 1 and 2 cardio have great benefits, and depending on fitness level, can be acheived with simple walking.

That's what I do. Walking, pushups and sometimes light dumbbells. I do it at rest areas, truckstops, or just some rural area. I do 20-40 mins. And that's it! You can turn it around in just 20 minutes a day.

You don’t have to be a professional athlete to stay semi fit out here if nothing else just get out of the truck once a day and go for a walk a couple miles. But when it comes to diabetes, first exercise and diet go hand-in-hand, you have to do both. In fact, diet is more important than exercise alone. Change your diet. Get the weight off while doing just some mild exercise and as your weight continues to drop increase the amount of exercise you do. You’ll get rid of that prediabetic state in about 60 days. Maybe 90 days depending on how overweight you might be. Aim to lose between two and 2 1/2 pounds a week anything more than that , it’s not good for you.
