@OLDSKOOLERnWV , forgot to mention…
Did a motorcycle ride that was lead by the highway patrol a few years back. Guess who lead the meeting with the LEO? That Barney Fife imitator. Complete with car and 1 bullet in his shirt pocket. Looked like him, moved like him, talked like him. Cool as hell.
But wouldn’t you hate going through life looking like Don Knotts?sawmill, singlescrewshaker, Sons Hero and 11 others Thank this. -

yeah, you need to partake of the show. Kinda cheesy in its own right, but dang entertaining for sure. at the time that show was in production, my dad had a pretty similar outfit, just all white though from what I can recall, plus we didn’t have a monkey riding shotgun.singlescrewshaker, exhausted379, Sons Hero and 7 others Thank this. -

Sad thing is, I didn't even feel it bite. I was hot and sweaty and covered in black rouge dust, buffing my fender. Reached down to scratch an itch and my fingers came back up bloody. Looked all over for where it came from, thinking I must have cut it or something? Then the welt appeared, and itching, then everything just ballooned up and kept ballooning until I thought my ankle was going to spring a leak. 36 hours later I can walk again, but it's still about twice the size of my other leg and my ankle looks like a overstuffed sausage.
I need to do better prepping - my stash of prednisone was 8 years old, and doxycycline was... a nice vintage 2009 and not safe for human consumption the last decade or so haha. Did telehealth this morning for fresh scripts. Whole leg is itching so bad I'd like to take a cheese grater to it, so I keep it locked up in a compression sock.
Must be revenge for all the bugs I've killed on my windshield.singlescrewshaker, Flint1, Gatordude and 4 others Thank this.
