Well guys have not been here for a while, been running very steady, and was even in the flood out in Nashville. It was a maze to get through there to get to shelbyville. With all that I am still getting my 3000 mile weeks. Freight is up all over, every company doing well, have talked to many friends out there with one company or another. I enjoy it while I can, like all of us I hate sitting, but you know the slow time will be here soon enough.

Hey guys, I havent been around for a while, hows everyone doing?

Some folks seem to be doing great on miles...2000 is a solid week for me in comparison. My DM is off until the 18th and apparently Ive got his trainee dm for a few weeks, seems like a decent guy though.

Of course, like all my other trucks, this one has a problem...but its a phantom. The exhaust blows white smoke but does not throw a CEL, Cummins is left scratching their heads.

Right now Im at a Flying J in Haubstadt, IN, gotta get to St. Louis tomorrow morning for 99 and next 01...then back to UT. Ill get an A and B service there to see if that eliminates my smoke issue, also gonna check my fuel water separator and air filters. I think my DPF filter may need to be cleaned soon too.

Roll it safe out there =)

I am assuming you tried the DPF Regen? How is your coolant? Always having to add some? Usually white smoke means there is a bad seal somewhere. At least with cars that is it. My trainer had some coolant leaking into the turbo causing white smoke.

Just a few ideas to check for.

Last time mine blew white smoke the radiator fluid was leaking from the inner cooler and into the exhaust and the dpf was burning it sending out the stack causing white smoke but i was losing coolant at a rate of 1 1/2 gallons of coolant a day. there was no outward signs of leaking. JJ
