My days as a fleet mechanic are gettin interesting taking a hub off a trailer (leaking wheel seal) had to call and order new spindle nuts. Last guy chiseled the nuts so much the socket wouldn’t fit and of course it was a pos stemco with the standard gob of silicone on it. I thought the last guy was a little half assed but I’m discovering he was just faking it the whole time

They are definitely a labor of love. I'm always tinkering around with mine, but I always look back at it when I walk away from it, so I guess it makes it worth it.

Gotta go get my ‘70 today. It’s got a brand new 4L80E trans in it (just rebuilt I guess not new). I’m thinking about keeping it, it’s what I want but not quite what I need if that makes sense
