40's and raining last night again. Weather varies so much it's laughable. Wood fire in the morning and sweating your ### off in the afternoon. It never gets much over 80 but with the elevation and clear air the sun feels 20 degrees warmer.
Another couple weeks it will start freezing at night.
Can't wait for the bugs to disappear.
Hunting season starts Aug 1st up here. The local outfitter dropped a pack train of horses off yesterday. Them cowboys are tough. They are going 3 days ride west of here and won't be coming back for a least 2 1/2 months.

OK, now this thing is gonna be loose up in the mountains. So you need to be careful of crossings you have not seen a train on for this great big snorting monster bearing down on you. One of a kind, some big power. Worth seeing...
