so, I went to cfi orientation, left because they lied about position I agreed to do, they rented me a car to get there, I parked it on there property in joplin Missouri, took pictures of car sitting in the enterprise parking for rental cars, with dates and time stamps, and turned the keys into their orientation director like I was informed to do on the first morning of orientation, turns out that they never turned in the car, and enterprise contacted me for the photos I took which clearly was where I said it was, there were there trucks in the background, at there terminal, they were charged like 2k for late fees because they did not return thr car, its not on the driver's to do so, it clearly states in their orientation email, what we are expected to do with them, which I did, I paid for my own rental home, st.louis, which I have proof of. and there threaten me with collections. should I just ignore them? its not my fault, I did what I was supposed to do. they are saying I took the car which is a straight up lie.
question cfi.

So how did they lie about the position? Just curious as I remember your previous thread on this account.

So, CFI is saying you took and kept the rental car, or are they also claiming you should have returned it to Enterprise yourself? It seems odd that they would return the car for you, I will say that much. CFI is threatening to report this to collections or Enterprise is? If you still have any contract for the rental car from when you picked it up, read what it says. There is a good chance that it contains an arbitration provision. If it does, consult an attorney, or look into handling it yourself. You should really consult an attorney or attempt resolution on your own anyway. It sounds to me at least like a deceptive trade practice on the part of whomever is threatening reporting to collections against you. CFI may not even have the ability to do that themselves.
Regarding arbitration of the rental agreement, if it does contain an arbitration provision, that could possibly extend to CFI as well, if they are the ones making these threats to you. If the arbiter is JAMS, the filing fee there in that forum is $2,000.00 alone. I already know what I would do, I would use that to slap their mouth for ever threatening me in the first place.hope not dumb twucker Thanks this. -

Schneider had the same deal with the rental cars, park it at the terminal in the designated area and turn the keys in to the people on duty, they return the car to wherever it was rented from.
Cfi must have made a mistake in their process.
