2012 Volvo d13 air compressor leaking oil

What is the price difference between the 2? What is the warranty on the reman? Reman is Haldex and through Fleetpride so you should be good with it. Reman is not and is better than rebuilt. With reman they go through everything and it should be as good as new.

My mechanic says the new stuff is just as bad as the ReMan these days.
Quality has gone out the window.

 

If it was me and my money I would go with the reman part and save the extra dough. With the warranty it has, if it lasts you two years and goes out the day after the two years passes, you at least maybe got your moneys worth out of it. I know I would be pretty pissy if I paid for the new one and the same thing were to happen with it in the same amount of time as the reman. Instead of losing $800 in the two years, it would be the $1800.
