We used to run all Deere equipment but have switched over to all Kubota. Great machines, got a lot of great servicing dealers close and zero percent financing! Also the slide up door on the skid steers are a game changer!

For the most part all major brands make great machines, and the are all close in price. So it really does boil down to dealer network/service and financing.

Oh and to my knowledge Kubota is one of the few brands that actually builds their own engines.

Does anyone know who builds the Montana line of tractors?

We have a dealer in Batesville I could use a another 75hp tractor but can’t stand the sting of another New Holland

I think it happens a lot. My LS tractor and father in law's New Holland are nearly identical. He just paid a lot more than I did

Bobcat has been building Bobcat stuff in Gwinner ND for years. Old tale told but as true...
Bobcat built, hired hands, got ready, turned on the presses... Lights went out as far as Fargo.... Rethought things......
Reset start up time of some now and some later. Let the folks get ham and eggs with some coffee, more friendly.
(I sold my forklift business in 1993 to Equipment, Inc. (Jax, MS a Nissan and Bobcat dealer.) A hoot to demo their mini excavators then.)

Similar to the caveat: "If you don't know jewels, know your jeweler."
