I would have asked them why would they do that to their customers? And what's the plan when trucks no longer stop there?

RJ’s in Tremonton has basically been a local drop lot ever since I was down there multiple times a week pulling flatbed.

I used it in Florida over a year ago. Had never heard of it. My Dad lives there and I needed a place to leave the truck. Mine was $20/day and was a gravel lot in the rear of someone's home. Maybe 1.5 acres including the house and there was an access to the rear parking from a road/lane in rear of the house. It worked well for me. Now its all over the place. Trucker Path, too. Personally, I'd never use it nightly.

Don't think the Mesquite place really enforce the parking club spots. Barely enforced the PFJ parking.

The problem is a lot of you park and buy nothing. Truck stops are businesses not free places for you to park. They don’t provide free utensils and free microwaves. The industry has done it to itself and now you complain.

    Opus Thanks this.

Yep, we park, shut er down and just toss garbage out the truck and whizz on the pavement and then complain when they charge us for parking. You betcha. You are the expert.
