Arrest made after parents slaughtered in front of their children at Arkansas Devil's Den State Park

I would've been carrying some type of gun just in case I encountered the mysterious dogman..and yet our fellow man seems to be the most dangerous and depraved. I never go hiking, camping, out in the woods, fishing, etc without some type of firearm for personal protection. That's just the world we live in now.. Horrible situation for that family.

 

2 counts of capital murder which,if convicted he’ll be eligible for the death penalty.

 

Seems like these people are coming out of the woodwork, huh ?

 

The death penalty is a bad joke. Takes forever to do it, and costs much more than life in prison. Waiting for your loved one killer to die (peacefully ) will given you little closure after 30 to 40 years.
If the death penalty happened like the murder did, perhaps it would be a deterant

 

You have to wonder if he was inspired by Bryan Kohberger. I don't think it's very common for someone to go out and stab random people Michael Myers-style. The fact his license plate was covered with tape suggests he was planning on killing someone.

 

Yeah it's possible, a lot of crazies out there. We'll see how tough he is when he gets to prison.. maybe this situation can shed some light on psychological evaluations for teachers instead of pawning these folks off to the next district..but mostly it's just the crazies in general.. I always carry a weapon when I'm out like that.. even then though..if something happened, I'd have a heck of a legal situation..so may add a video recording device as well..
