That's good to hear. I have an appointment next week for mine which is about 2 weeks before it's due.

Take it directly to the DMV yourself, that way it’s done immediately. Always get the large copy also to put in your truck.

How does that work for non CDL medical card holders?

Non cdl don't need medical certificate .

As for time to process. You all panicking over nothing.

You got it done. The date holds face. If the hands that be can't process in a timely manner. It's not your problem. Just show them the date.

I didn't get no letter from the state. Just an email saying UPDATED. But mine was done 2 weeks before June 25.

Your medical certificate has to be in the system. Paper doesn't count anymore. Your carrier can't accept a Paper certificate anymore. You won't get a Paper certificate anymore.

Intrastate commercial drivers over 10 K must have a DOT medical card and must log, but do not need a CDL unless over 26,000.

so, again, how does this work for non CDL drivers?

    you're somewhat right.

they need a medical to drive company vehicles regardless of weight because the dot number will be on the vehicles. But they don't log. Or didn't.

That's what was explained to me at one company i worked at 20 years ago. No idea now with all the new rules.

That was wrong 20 years ago; still is. Over 10 K interstate requires compliance with HOS regulations.
