You know how you can loop an extension cord up all nice and neat when you hang it up, yet when you grab it to use, and pull the end, it's got knots all over and the only way they come out is by untying them? I think the guy that chained this stuff is relying on the chains doing that if something happens to pull them.
There's a whole lotta work put into those to do nothing.Kyle G., Gatordude, broke down plumber and 6 others Thank this. -

Out of curiosity wouldn’t you tuck the boom in close to the front of the unit to get the height down? As an outsider to that type of hauling it would seem an RGN would be a better method of transport. What do you professionals suggest?Nostalgic, Kyle G., ElmerFudpucker and 7 others Thank this.

Yes and yes... Needless to say there is rate cutters in every side of the industry.. cheaper for the broker to put it on a step than an rgn. Looks to be a smaller machine but steps arent designed to haul equipment like that where the weight is concentrated on the sides of the trailer.. but the cheap skates do what they can to survive another dayKyle G., IH Truck Guy, Oxbow and 9 others Thank this.

Four 80,000lb loads , 600 some odd Miles thru the northeast for 10K all in for 4
Just shoot me now please

It's really not. Based on the dimensions and weight it sounds like either stamping or injection molding dies. Easy load on a 7 axle flat/step. Rate is still too low though.

He's not even halfway there yet on those four loads. Have the dimensions and what they could haul it on should be somewhere between 24,000 and 28000 is what I would think. I don't run the Northeast. I'm not sure if you even need a car that heavy but if you do, then it would just be higher
