The change in torque is astounding when built right.
My uncle runs an HT383 gm crate motor in his 78 c20. Hauls a 9.5' truck box camper and 20 foot ski boat, as good as my 6.0L did.
There is a few differences in the rotating assemblies tho.
Stock the 400 was externally balanced, 350 was internally. You need the correct balancer and flywheel.
I'm totally unsure if the aftermarket stroker cranks are like that tho.

Before anyone goes smarta55 like my buddies- the T800 project is Kenworth "Medium Jade Green Metallic" not John Deere Green. I am NOT painting the fenders and wheels yellow. Nothing runs like a Deere yeah ha ha ha funny funny.
