I reside in GA but I’m on vacation in WV and drove into PA just to say that I’ve been there and saw one of their trucks and looked them up. JOBS | Seven Point Energy It says they require one year of driving experience with a tanker endorsement. I’ve got over 2 years t/t experience in a dump trailer and another 3 in a class B truck, all of which were a 10-spd transmission.
Does anyone know anything about this company? Are they good to work for? I would have to relocate to the Waynesburg area before getting hired on. It seems CoL is fairly low in the area, so it could be worth it if they pay good. They also have an apprenticeship program according to their webpage, so it looks like they’re willing to train.
Seven Point Energy in Waynesburg PA?

Did you stop in to their office and talk to them while you were there?

Don’t know of them, but I lived and worked in Washington PA back in 2011-2013, I too was a transplant, but from Florida. Cost of living is low there, and the oilfield work is coming back, have a good friend that lives up there and says it’s getting busy again. I will tell you this though, the roads take a while to get used to, pretty treacherous driving up there especially if the snow sets in, but looking back on it I thoroughly enjoyed my time up there, really regret moving back to FL if I’m being honest.
Zonno and hope not dumb twucker Thank this. -
If I may back up what Trashtrucker posted, he's right, I don't know how flat it is where you are used to driving, but in Western Pa the hills and valleys can make a driver go nuts. There are many roads, especially in this area that absolutely do not get plowed or salted in the winter.
I wish you all the best.Zonno Thanks this. -

Western PA, you can adapt to it, just be safe. I lived in Florida my whole life and adjusted well to it, my boss would actually send me out in weather and sit some of the guys that lived up there they’re whole life, I asked him why once and he told me because he knew I was a cautious driver where the locals tend to over drive the conditions. Western PA is a beautiful place as well, Pittsburgh is a great city, wheeling and Morgantown are all close, if you’re a motocross fan, high point is right there in mount morris, quite a few things to do there on your down time.
Zonno Thanks this.
