Brokers blacklisting me because of no inspections-Blaming Highway

Emerge is kind of hot garbage, anyway.

 

JB Hunt did the same thing. That's why when they invited me back after the big purge I never signed back up. First reason when I saw Highway was involved and second, I would have gone through all that B.S. just to get kicked off for not hauling enough loads. I actually like this trend. At least they're basically saying "We only want to work with carriers that we have good long-lasting relationships with"

A new one for me ……no ELD connection…..Agent says I can not use you for ELD connection…. What will they think of next ?

 

This a wild day on the load board I thought I booked a COD load , got a text and have not received pick up locations or drop off, Freedom Auto Transport out of Fla. a constitution bucket. I called they said they don’t have me in the system. I probably lost other loads while waiting. I sent a picture of it on the load board to the owner of the company along with the load ID number. Probably booked for less a not bother to call back.

 

Thank you!! I refuse to set up with Highway! I was told from a broker I'm listed on Highway, He told me it only says; I refuse to give ELD access, and I don't have proper insurance! The people at Highway are evil soulless liars! I feel remorse for anyone doing business with them. But I guess if you're stepping and fetching, dancing to their tune you'll be all good.

 

Spammer dredged up this old post. Scott have brokers been loosening up on this any lately? It's always funny how the rules get tossed out when they cant cover the freight. Seems to be some grumbling about trucks getting harder to find. I've seen some broker whining on reddit. I hope you guys still in the business take full advantage of them and it goes on like that for years!

 

Spammer? Dredged up this old post? It's last post was 8/7/25, and it was me. I'm sure it's going to be a continuous problem. I read on Reddit, brokers bragging about their 6 figure paychecks... One was having a breakdown from all the stress, another advised him to get a gym membership, go every day, hire help, and set at least one spa day every week... All that, and the outrageous coast Highway charges them... who's paying all that??? It's a national security issue! Then the broker tells you; he'd give you $1.50/mile but he can't because Highway says your no good. 35 years, by the grace of God and a little skill, delivered 100% without fail, 99.9% on time... but the children, that was just weaned last week, that work for the brokerages and Highway, making 6 figures, says I can't work because they don't like the data. Yeah, I see this old issue going on for a minute.
