Holy **** Moment!

That driver seemed to be pretty slow locking that truck up. I would have done everything possible to avoid following that first truck into the unknown in the dust plume.

 

Both trucks hit the bridge though... The blind leading the blind...

 

Whats with all these bridge strikes lately, all with equipment in its most basic form. No reason for a tiny backhoe to ever come close to smashing a bridge

 

The article said that the blue Volvo also hit the bridge. They look pretty tall the way they have them loaded.

 

That’ll buff right out.

 

A) CDLs used to be obtained as prizes in Cracker Jack boxes. Now a person doesn't even need to buy the Cracker Jacks.

B) For decades, Carriers have prized capacity over competency, and used technology to replace training. At this point the quality of the driver pool has been irrevocably degraded.

C) Brokers and Shippers are not held civilly or criminally liable for the carriers they hire.

 

Look like a drilling attachment or something. Clearly way over height just looking at it..
