Oh well then you should be alright having filled that out. Hopefully he will verify your employment that you worked there. I think most companies will call to verify. Sometimes they may not call if its listed on your hireright report, but this likely won't be reported to hireright. But anything in the last 3 years they're definitely required to verify.
Employment verification from a small company?

If you can prove the sexual harassment, if you have record of it via text, email or recorded calls (if you were savvy enough to record calls) then file a sexual harassment lawsuit against the employer.
Michelle33 Thanks this. -
No!
don’t do that. If he is asking you for the w9 now, call the irs and file a complaint.dunchues, Lonesome, Big Road Skateboard and 4 others Thank this. -
Take his advice here. I am not sure what he means, but he knows his stuff. I am just guessing, but I think it would be due to not having completed any tax form at the time of hire.Last edited: Aug 10, 2025

Why give something and not get anything? I would call and speak to him. Tell him that you will hand deliver the W-9 and whatever else he wants. But at that time you want a letter verifying period of employment. And that he agrees to provide verification to any company that calls him.Michelle33 Thanks this.

The 150 mile air radius rule is 150 air miles from your regular starting location, not 150 miles from wherever you drop off/pick up your most recent load.

My boss actually showed me a video from the Texas DOT officer saying that it's 150 air miles from the yard- then 150 air miles from pickup- etc. I just had to stack loads that kept me within those guidelines- which I did. But none of this matters now- as I no longer work there lolSuspect Zero Thanks this.

Wow. Okay, that's never been my understanding of it but hey, I'm wrong more than right. If DOT is saying it, they should know.
Thanks.Michelle33 Thanks this. -
Ya no problem. I know the ag exempt rules also vary state to state- I hauled ag in South Dakota and the rules were a little different from Texas.Suspect Zero Thanks this.

The Ag exemption is different than the short haul exemption. Ag is 150 radius of load origin. Livestock also gets the 150 radius on the delivery destination.Suspect Zero Thanks this.
