Dang man, You cannot catch a break on those trucks. I keep reading your stuff and it reminding me not to keep this truck past the warranty. I have been really debating about it but you keep reminding me to not be stupid.Arctic_fox, broke down plumber, singlescrewshaker and 2 others Thank this.

Holy cow that girl thirsty!!

Had my rig going on 4yrs in October, & recently stumbled into one a them ol scan guage dealio's.
According to the ScanGuage, idle bump'd to 850rpm, manual engine fan locked in, & the ac compressor cycling it reads .56-.70 gallon per hour. That's doable,,
@ ~$3.50 gal for 8-10hr idle
cost $19.60-$24.50 to keep cool
At 2gal per hour, or $70 bucks a night in your case, I'd be set'n in a cheap motel watch'n Gunsmoke or Bonanza fer sure! Lol
Seems that EPU was a smart move. Best a luck with er & keep the post coming Hand.
Arctic_fox, broke down plumber, Tug Toy and 1 other person Thank this. -
In my defense the last one had warranty too and MHC told me to pound sand every single time i tried to use it. This one also has warranty and im pretty sure this will be covered.Siinman, Oxbow and broke down plumber Thank this.

That is saving your butt for sure. Cant remember but is this the factory warranty or an aftermarket one? Glad they are taking care of you though, We have it bad enough trying to make a living and getting screwed over by warranty issues should never be the reason a person goes under. Keep us updated like always. Glad you are working your way through this.

I always do lol. And yes to both, its aftermarket offered directly by navistar to help try and win people back to their brand after the maxxforce debacle.broke down plumber, Oxbow and Siinman Thank this.

So got my rig back #3 injector never had the fuel line replaced and it was badly rusted and the injector was jammed open with rust. Blew the head gasket....again, also took the water pump and a couple other things with it.
Got about 4 hours down the road today and some moron durka decided to pull out infront of me from a dead stop even after i moved over. Had to panic brake and ended up for sure breaking my trailers leveling valve, likely blew at least 1 airbag, have flat spots in 6 trailer tires and yeeted my laptop into my shifter and basically exploded the screen. I am #### glad i have 23k brakes all around and top end drums even with my foot on the brake just incase he did a dumb i #### near hit him. Also moved almost 6000 pounds of scrap forward in the rig that ima now need to yeet to the back to get legal again.broke down plumber, FullMetalJacket, gekko1323 and 2 others Thank this. -
We need to get these kind of drivers off the road. No reason for anyone to pull out in front of a truck like that. I am sorry you are going through yet another issue dude. I hope you got the license information and reported that A Hole.broke down plumber Thanks this.
