Trucking in 10 years

I don't think we need to worry too much about the arabs or the oil companies or the railroads ,the enemy comes from within, our government is the one that is gonna take the trucking industry down. they are the real enemy here . we have people who know nothing usefull telling us how,where, when ,and for how long, and now they want to tell us what mpg we should get ,and even what tires we can use in what state at what level of emissions and that the rate should be controlled and it should be less and less all the while forcing the cost per mile up and it all amounts to the fact that truckers should not make any profit for what they do. the government in this country has never liked the trucking industry and they never will, but just like the arabs and the oil companies they have no problem taking our money from our families mouths and letting us starve while they sit their fat a--- in their 3000 dollar chairs and decide how they are gonna waste the millions and millions of tax dollars they collect from trucking . the true enemy of the trucking industry and americans in any walk of life is the wastefull ignorant self serving , agenda fullfilling sorry sobs that are selling this country out to the lowest bidder. they are the enemy, not the arabs or the taliban, or the iraqis , . as far as oil being on the downward slope you would be hard pressed to get an honest answer from anyone especially our government they lie more than a lot lizard , they rob us more than any inner city thug and they are so two faced i bet their mothers have to check their id to see if they are really their kin. the gov wants to be able to track us and control us . they dont like us or what we do or how we do it , never have , never will. in ten years it will just be worse, they want to control something they dont know anything about. there is energy solutions now but they wont happen because the corporations that have bought the polititions say its not time yet and the two faced lying pieces of crap cant let it happen till their owners say so. I speak harshly of them while i still have the right to do so, in ten years it may be illeagal for me to do so, and while we attempt to learn chinese we wont have to worry none about trucking it will be decided for us.

 

What, no flying "hover trucks"? Where's all the new technology I was promised in the eighties? Now I'm pissed.

 

No sir the flying hover trucks were put on hold ,the gov is not wanting the public to have something that can blow as much hot air as they can.

Well, that's where ya gotta know a little on how to RR work's. Local job's are based on seniority in most case's unless there is no one else to fill the position. RR's are union job's. Seem's like any monkey can get into truck driving these day's. Just got have the cash and a decent record to fly by. Railroad is extremely hard to get on with. In most case's you need to "know someone" because even going to MTI for some degree to get a position in that field and all that BS still won't guarantee you a job.

 

Alot of people talking about how big the railroad is going to be. Sorry but I don,t see it happening, the r.r. is about equil to pipeline import,export right now in tonage, that,s not impressive at all. I had to take a intermodal gig last fall, I run into Chicago, problebly the largest railroad town in the country if not the world. The railroads a mess, always will be, and that Warren Buffet is a fool, he,s just a rail road nutjob. He,s been into trains since he was a boy and pretends he,s a engineer on a half mile long train in his basement. If the rail is going to get huge, they better get another 20 tracks across the country. It will take 4 years to get our wages back to where,they were 4 years ago, so in 10 years you,ll earn .3 cpm more than in 2006. Maybe a big chanell east to west, then we,ll drive onto a barge and kick back, fire up the grill, watch chicks play volleyball in there bikinis,arm wresle, and play hackysack. haha
