You're a man of principle, the corporate pimps don't want anything to do with you..LOL.. They've already read, "The Art of The Pimp", just like I have..let's just say they like a certain demographic that'll beak that back chasing the carrot..without needing any true purpose, just a means to an end.. I also agree with @hope not dumb twucker as everybody eventually most likely has a price.. even me..depending on what misfortune I encounter.. I'd like to think not..but there's always something..maybe only the devil knows.

Then again you could be a true Jobe or Noah from the Bible . I did corporate defense contracting for about a decade.. the only thing good about it in the end was working with beautiful women.. everything else sucked, wasn't worth 6 figures... Once you make that kind of money..THEY PRETTY MUCH OWN YOU.. not me though..luckily I had no family..

 

Is there any reason why AI can't replace accountants?

 

They don’t like me cause my price is high and I call bs when I see it.

 

they tried to outsource to India for cheaper pay but even they couldn’t do it. At this point not sure if AI is smarter than the Indians.

I’m sure the lower parts of the job can be done with AI, but the signature is key. Meaning a physical person aka a CPA has to be responsible.

similar to autonomous truck insurance who’s responsible for a crash?

can’t blame a computer for a screw up if no CPA is over seeing the work.
