Where are they located? Do you have their DOT number? Is it a W-2 job or a 1099? What is the base pay? Mileage pay /Percentage/Hourly? Any benefits? Paid leave? Regular pay raises the list goes on

Munoz trucking is in El Paso, TX and Crete Carriers is a mega and I'd be attending orientation in the Dallas, TX area- both w2 positions and the pay is 61-64cpm at crete 4 weeks out w/a driver bonus or 50cpm at munoz but I would have weekends off. I'm just trying to find people who can share their personal experience with either of these companies.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
How much money do you want to make? 50cpm is ridiculously low, weekends off or not.Speedy356, Diesel Dave and lual Thank this.

I know, but if the smaller company has a better reputation as far as taking care of their drivers and the equipment is better due to being on top of routine maintenance, then the pay difference would probably be worth it- I really need to pick my next company for a long-term career choice. So I want to make sure that I'm not just chasing after the higher pay- from my minimal experience, the pay isn't always worth chasing after when it comes down to it-

How much experience do you have? Do you have a clean record? Chances are very good that this won’t be your last job. I personally would go with Crete, gain valuable experience doing as many different things with them as I could and then look to move up to a better job, ie a private fleet job.Speedy356 and Trucker61016 Thank this.

I only have 16 months experience and yes, I have a clean record. Not even 1 ticket on my mvr- and I'm 42- lol I'm quite proud of that. But this is already going to be my 5th company- which is why I need to be wise in my decision. No more job hopping- though the reasons for leaving my past companies have been for good reason, it still looks bad.Lonesome Thanks this.

The better question is how many miles per week can they run you?
-
16 months experience might be why Munoz is offering 50 cpm. The thing with a company that large is that even though you make 61 plus cpm, it may only amount to 2300 miles or so weekly. It really depends on what you prefer. Do you want to be a tod warrior and run all 48 or just sectors of the country?Trucker61016, Michelle33 and Lonesome Thank this.
