You've got as many paper pages to figure out how to legally log it as you have log books!

    LOL! :biggrin_2559:

I still send D-man my recap when I get empty, and current status for the day HOS-wise. He can plug that into the load planning software. He beat me to the gun over repowering my current load this morning... had to agree with him for once. Like U2 said - its all about communication. My load is headed for an on-time delivery, and the load I switched to gives me a nice little breather - and some hometime on Momma's Day!

Good stuff for all concerned! :biggrin_25514:

I too have been told by Wal Mart that I coould not stay there. Once my 14 expired while unloading. Still had to move about 15 mi away. I just went off duty and put a note in and moved. Never heard anything back.

I wish you the best. Ive been tempted.

I would definantly reach my goals a lot quicker if I could be a successful in a lease... Im just going to stay on course through familiar territory.

:biggrin_25514: U2 there is really no need to be so condescending when all I am doing is talking about concerns I do have based on previous experience over the seven years I have been out here. If you say all is working out well, that is fantastic. Communication with FMs has often been more along the lines of what Ironpony said earlier... deaf ears. So we push the limits, and sometimes bust logs trying to get things done. If your experience is better, praise God. I am glad you are still around. Last fall, (I have been away from the forum for a while) you took a hiatus because of all the BS you were getting. Glad to see you back. Actually, reviewing posts, there was even a time someone thought you were a woman! :)
My wife and I are actually considering taking another lease. The kids are all gone now, she is finishing her school next month, and would come with me. We have some friends who would rent the house from us... so it could work. Right now I am sitting in the little Kum and Go truck stop across US65 from Prime, casting a wistful eye...

Just be careful. Remember, you take all of the liability here. If you are hit from A to B, you take the heat. God forbid someone should hit you and be injured or worse. Moving that truck after your 14 expires, is NOT a legal move.

Be Safe and Have Fun !!!

No seriously... in a thread a while back some driver claimed you were a woman, which anyone following your informative and enlightened posts knows better than. I am not whining. I am addressing concerns I have about elogs, and am trying to convey that I appreciate your assurance that it is all working well and THANKING you because I trust your judgment. I have read a lot of what you have posted, and in fact, much of it is why I went back to Prime last summer. Your posts generally are informed, concise, and helpful. I had a bad experience with them - more specifically the truck - and had to let the lease go. I am not, and have never, attacked you in any way, and have no idea why you are so angry. If you have taken anything I have said in that way, please forgive me.

U2 I found the post I mentioned. It is on your thread "Good bye, good luck" from last fall. FamilyMan posted on 10/06/09 that you were a woman. I was amazed. TruckerMike, IronPony, Emton, and St Simeon had fun correcting him over the next couple days. Check it out... I am trying to lighten things up.
