I have a 2019 Peterbilt x15 Before I get to start it codes 1921 differently pressure is on and ETC driver circuit 5879 code and I try to do a regen from truck it’ll kick out within minutes and then 1981 dpf system pops up and also 5882 ETC pops up. I can’t get the laptop to do the regen I was doing it yesterday but now I can’t. I did change the differential pressure sensor and cleaned up the pipe between EGR and ETC This truck as always had ashload soot levels high and always use to just burn it off! But my question is. Is it the filter or the ETC Maybe the ETC is acting up cuz of the clogged filter? The 5882 code pops up shortly after I turn truck off
ETC IS ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL ACTUATOR
Sooo I have a truck not regening

Are you using Insite? I mostly see the 6.7 Cummins and there’s a code or two where you have to do a filter reset to run a regen.
@GoodysnapGoodysnap Thanks this. -
Certain fault codes will inhibit regens from occurring. Go after your throttle actuator codes. Since the throttle valve is on the air handling my guess is that’s your issue. The actuators themselves are a high failure part. Also check the electrical connection for corrosion or damaged pins. Once you fix your fault codes it should regen.
Don’t fiddle running it too long as your allready at 1921 soot level.
Once you get 1922 is when you need to maintenance reset with Insite for the filter.062 Thanks this. -
Get an Ancel 2-way code reading device. Like the HD3300. You can force a parked regen. Cost you about $500, I think. I've no affiliation. That being said, I never leave home without it!
