Alright bro, I'm just saying that's about what you'll make... Freight is still stagnant given the excess capacity we are observing.. I'm talking to honest American drivers.. that's about the money you will make.. some make more..I hear Ya!!

 

NO offense at all, yeah it's pretty bad. I'm a tanker guy and it used to be easy to net 4 a week, now I'm lucky to make 3500 net

 

Do not go with LANDSTAR. Brokers increasingly are saying NO landstar. You will never know this because the agents and company will have you believe they are the best and of course everyone uses landstar. A lot of their freight isn’t theirs. Most actually. You’ll call the agent and they’ll call “their customer.” They will tell the agent we don’t work with landstar and the agent will tell you “sorry my customer covered that load.”

As for authority that increasingly isn’t working. I know a major player in the game who takes on dispatching new authority trucks and it’s hard to get anyone to work with new authority.

Personally I think that’s what is killing trucking. Everyone and their brother went out and got their own authority. It’s driven rates down. So has all the flip floppers and you know who I am talking about.
