Sysco KC is teamsters, the entry pay may have started low but would have scaled quickly along with the other benefits, but you then have the Union which to some is a pro and some is a con.

Union probably also has where the driver is vested for a pension after 5 years.

Walking the two wheeler ramp is for the younger crowd.
Then their is the stack the freezer and put the junk on the shelf.
You will quickly learn where not to eat.......

Oh yea. Theres plenty of places I won’t go to anymore, seen a lot of nasty kitchens. And some that were surprisingly clean.

Too late, they already have a red flag flashing on all future trucking websites,,,I think $20/hr. is a bit lean too, and you mean to tell me a company that is worth an astonishing $38 BILLION dollars, can't pay more than $20/hr? Pixx poor, I say. And they wonder why we have sub par drivers.
To Floridaboy, their loss, you can do better.

$20 bucks per hour is a joke to drive a truck and unload all the product. Our local Panda Express stars employees out at $20 per hour.

My thoughts exactly, why would I do
More work for less money? Even though my current employer is about to drive me mentally insane lol

Short term pain for long term gain. Find out what the progression is, how long does it take. May be a couple of years but nothing like 5 or 10 years. UPS, other union companies are the same way with the wage progression. And the benefits. Yes, $20 per hr is low anywhere.
Yesterday, 2 Sysco CDL A jobs in KC. Today 1. Probably filled the one you turned down.

Yeah you can't judge that $20 an hour until you know the whole deal. If it has union benefits it'll top out in pay soon enough, you fumbled.
