Good grief. I think when I applied for Southern Pines it was listed as ExileTR or WickTR...and it said

Nothing screams reputable like redacting your company name lol. Also 60cpm seems ludicrous for cryo but maybe im wrong. There's a fuel hauling company around me that pays 60cpm and unsurprisingly theyre always hiring.Friend, viper822004 and Rugerfan Thank this.

Yup, Seeing alot of those type ads here in the PNW. The names seem to only last a few months and then another round comes through with different names and it begins again. Apparently rest and roll, call and demand, whatever jobs are being farmed out. Not sure by who. We Use US cryo and our own Call and demand drivers. I've seen Genox up here on CO2. We use Reed Hurst out of Pocatello for hauling our cylinders and portables in dryvans and curtain sides at one of our plants here in the PNW . They used to have a yard FULL of Linde cryo trailers in Cortez, CO up until 2021. I'm talking probably 20 trailers, some even still had BOC labels. They also pull for Messer and Airgas. I was thinking about working for them when I was contemplating moving to Pocatello, ID where the main yard is.Dennixx, Friend, Accidental Trucker and 1 other person Thank this.

You're cool I was just giving my experience with the little time I spent with airgas and getting to know them while in orientation

I had Hurst on my radar for post retirement work after we move to the Rapid City area next year.
They were advertising for drivers out of the Black Hills earlier but sounded like more of a OTR gig.scythe08 Thanks this. -
Would any of you guys know If linde or Air Products are good places to go if they end up having a Class B opening ? I tried the airgas route and I just wasn't sold. Maybe it would have been different had I actually started and got used to it but I currently work at amerigas and couldn't really make the jump with all the extra things you'd have to kinda do and move to nights not making any more $ also. 50 cent wage cut
viper822004 Thanks this. -
Don't know much on the cylinder class B side but both are the top of the cryo chain and could offer the opportunity to get a CDL A license.
You'd train on cylinder/route work but really is dependent on the needs of that location..could be a road run 5 days a week.
At Linde you can transfer between locations and plants if you acquire a CDL A. -
Yeah I just have zero desire for class a. You certainly can make just as much if not more with your B but some feel they have to get the A
