Thin flat steel, 45k lbs
No tarp.X-chains in front only, (8) 4" straps w/corner protectors, 2 additional chains over the top. Do you guys who haul flat steel think this is good? Be honest.

It looks good to me.
Only thing I’d do differently is an x chain on the rear also. Flat steel, and I beams will (in my experience) work to the rear some when you have only a front x chain, just enough to loosen the front x just a bit. -
24 foot 2/12 boards. I’d like to see the trees these came from. Loaded right by the lake in Island Pond Vt.

It would do for me, not sure the straps are even needed, especially if the rear chain could be doubled and crossed.
But that X on the front = peace of mind.
Oops, just seen that @Oldman83 had the same thought.
