Thin flat steel, 45k lbs IMG_1304.jpeg IMG_1303.jpeg IMG_1302.jpeg No tarp.X-chains in front only, (8) 4" straps w/corner protectors, 2 additional chains over the top. Do you guys who haul flat steel think this is good? Be honest.

    It looks good to me.
Only thing I’d do differently is an x chain on the rear also. Flat steel, and I beams will (in my experience) work to the rear some when you have only a front x chain, just enough to loosen the front x just a bit.

It would do for me, not sure the straps are even needed, especially if the rear chain could be doubled and crossed.
But that X on the front = peace of mind. ;)

Oops, just seen that @Oldman83 had the same thought.
