@D.Tibbitt that truck looks like it rides good? Longer than normal KW’s like Melton runs? Either way, Ive always thought that’s a sharp looking ride, I’m skeptically looking forward to moving on to the new Mack Pioneer, I pray it’s better than these anthems, I probably never would, but an anthem is the one reason I would resign my employment with my current long time employer, I don’t mesh with these trucks at all.
broke down plumber and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Definantly one of the better riding trucks ive driven. The owners order all these trucks with 300" wb from factory, since the majority of our work is overlength stuff. If i put my 5th wheel all the way back i can get almost 9ft of freight up front , which makes it so we can haul like 75ft material without needing to put it on a stretch trailer.. and on stuff like 60ft we hardly even need overlength permits out west.. and the whole setup is still light enough we can scale 48.5k payload.. proper 13 speed and 525hp cummins and 3.25 rears , i can still get up the mountain passees at 40-45mph fully loaded and then do the speed limit too up to 75... Id say this company found a nice niche for west coast flatbedding. And they only been around since like 2012... They have their faults anf i get tired of the job and company like anything else but its probably one of the better gigs out westWalk Among Us, broke down plumber, Rugerfan and 6 others Thank this.
