Lol actually did that 2 years ago, headed across 74 into IL. Shortly after midnight, lost headlights, both sides. Was cold and rainy too, why is the weather always carp when stuff like that happens? Shorted the switch and everything out. (Hot wire had rubbed through on frame rail right at the bumper.) Thats one reason I am glad I know a little about electrical, I was able to get low beam back in a few minutes…. Didn’t find the real issue until I got home the next morning, But I was able to get rolling and get through the night. And when you have a wiring harness, that looks like that, it doesn’t make you feel bad at all to snip into it, and do what needs to be done to get home. I just robbed the switch for the work lights on the back.austinmike, Deere hunter, D.Tibbitt and 9 others Thank this.

Had a guy who had duty in Korea as a helper on my delivery route in 54. He referred to me as his friend by this phrase or it sounded to me.
"The Korean phrase "Chin guy Kasarome" is likely a misspelling of "친구가 사람이" (chin-gu-ga sa-ram-i), which translates to "my friend is a person".
Never know when you might meet a Korean (say Hyundai plant in GA) and want to scrape up like kin folks...Deere hunter, broke down plumber, D.Tibbitt and 13 others Thank this. -

Kinda reverse of what you're doing. When I worked for a pipeline and grading company, about 20 so years ago. They hired some Mexican guys , hard workers but green as can be, didn't speak any English didn't smoke didn't drink. Three of them were out on the clearing crew ,the foreman was and still is a good friend of mine. After one week on his crew I seen his truck pulling on the yard, walked over and them them guys were in the back seat all of them were smoking, had a beer in their hand and the only English they had learned was F' this $hi#.Gatordude, Deere hunter, broke down plumber and 14 others Thank this.
