That's sad. Yes seems higher cpm.at most companies has stagnated the past 4 years..hmm wonder why? Oh yea those few hundred thousand foreign drivers allowed in. I can't blame Climate, they are just trying to survive this mess. Glad you are liking it over there.

I don't know how a few thousand foreign drivers working in America impacts millions of American truckers, but that's dialogue for another place and day.
Freight all around the industry is down. People are not spending other than whats necessary. If other people arent making and spending the money, how can truckers? Stuffs become expensive man. All of that makes a difference. The cpm doesn't matter that much. They are still paying within the market. There has been a little dip in my miles but I'm still able to make a living. I still ran 140k miles last year, so by enlarge, Climate has kept me moving. Perhaps I'm one of the lucky ones. That tells the story. High cpm means nothing without a lot of freight. I'm not unhappy though. Of course i'd like to make more money, but say for instance I go to another OTR conpany. Its most likely a lateral move, maybe a downgrade. Unless the customer freight is gonna put more cash on these contracts, it may be a while before the market shifts.

You ain't far behind on cpm brother! You're running a lot of miles here! You running in and out of New Century? Or maybe somewhere else...I know you had ran to Greenville out of Texas not long ago I think.

I took care of that action yesterday too. I polished rims yesterday in the heat. I think i lost my mind lol but they look good though. Had to wait til they finished servicing my truck so that's why I got caught in the heat. At least you'll have hourse available for some good runs.

Ita more than a few thousand, try a few hundred thousand. Its just one big factor among the others big ones you mentioned. Glad its going well there for you. Sounds like Climate Express is one of the better companies out there. Pretty sure this stagnation has already bottomed out, somewhere I read freight is up 10% from this time last year..not sure how accurate that is...

Well.....I feel no impact from the foreigners. I welcome them. They're trying to make a living just like you and me. I can't hate on anyone for doing that. Anyway, yeah man. Climate is a quality company in my book. They are one of the better companies, but they're definitely not for everyone. I know ive seen some drivers leave because of the running lanes in the winter. Others say we run too hard. Dispatch and safety can be blunt without much regard for your feelings if you screw up in a bad way. I like it that way though. You make your money by driving a lot here and if you can figure out the system and do things how they like it, you'll be fine. That maintenance dept though. I find that to be the most valuable thing here. They're like a Nascar pit crew in my opinion.
