Most guys with their own authority suck at it and should lease on to be told what needs done.
Most guys leased on should be company hands.
Most company hands should flip burgers.
Most.
Most people want to find problems: successful people find solutions.
you can lead a horse to water and all that.
Rates are crashing and fuel to the moon!

I was thinking hazmat or food grade, basically anything that you never see on a load board.Rideandrepair, Siinman, Gatordude and 1 other person Thank this.

Yet every grocery DC is packed with chromed out long noses doing long dock time.. DAT and Truckload board rates may be crap but there are obviously other ways to get more of what the shipper is paying, or there are just people doing it as a hobby.. Something is BS

Basically all you need to know! They don’t spend time telling others how it can’t be done.Rideandrepair, D.Tibbitt, Midwest Trucker and 3 others Thank this.

Would you rather catch a couple hour snoozer at a food warehouse, or at a truckstop. Some of us realize grocery warehouses absolutely obliterate our loads. Therefore they’re scheduled accordingly.
And also, if ya don’t sleep thru the lumper text, generally you’re not there for 11 hours like the reviews say lol -
DOT launching crackdown on cargo theft
What a coincidence that cargo theft rose during the "open border" timeJB7, Siinman, CAXPT and 1 other person Thank this. -
yup, I love Getting all the mom and pop drops out of the way during the day, then go into a warehouse with a couple POs, perfect time to take a nap
unless of course you tell them “call me when you need it I take a nap”, because I guarantee you will be unloaded by the time you get back to your truck from check inRideandrepair, Opendeckin, Siinman and 2 others Thank this. -
It's funny, I was reviewing my old photos and found a drivers license pic of the driver, who hit my o/o while getting unloaded back in 2021. Just look at the name and the type of license. They did not have insurance and sent us few thousands dollars for repairs via wire.

No surprise. I am hoping they start really pushing these people out of the trucking industry. So many are disrespectful drivers and dangerous. Had one almost hit me last night in the rest area flying through while I was walking to the restroom. I always turn my light on with my phone so people can see me. Didn't help on this occasion. Then had one park right in front of the parking area this afternoon in another rest area and sit for his 30 min break or something. Went inside to grab something to eat and came back out and he finally moved only after I gave him a dirty look at I walked by. Why do people stop like that when plenty of parking spaces?JonJon78, D.Tibbitt, fordconvert and 3 others Thank this.
