Putting them in a locked refer trailer set at 30 degrees and he's family. Makes me wonder what kind of horrors are happening in the home.

I didn’t watch the video but had looked up a local news station.

It’s just siblings doing dumb stuff..arresting the older brother just seems over the top to me.
Maybe a stern warning and make them rectify the situation..

Geez, thinking back to how many times my dad and his buddies (Court maintenance man, police officers, firefighters and a jail guard) put my life in danger..oh and a guy who sold guns, lol.

Like the time I was 8 years old and had to sit in the bed of a pickup loaded with firewood. Wasn’t even anything to hold onto but the firewood itself. No room in the cab with three grown men and the cooler of beer. They even crossed town lines!!

Or up in Maine camping with these malcontents. Me and my brother got our butts whacked with a stick for screwing up (think we were eating some dog biscuits on a dare, lol. They even made us pick our own branch to be beaten with and it had better be big enough to be affective.

Guess I just grew up in a different place and time.

As little kids we rode in the back of a pickup everywhere, rain or shine. Hold onto something because if you fall out you're walking home.

Sitting in the back of a pickup is a whole lot different than being locked in a pitch black reefer set at 30 degrees ..

Sat in the back of 34 degree trucks after picking strawberry's from the field back to the cooler. Either that or walk the 6-7 miles back home.

Who really knows what the actual situation was. Did they take frequent breaks, have communication with phones between the driver and girls?

Bonehead move on their part for sure but is it really national news?

I thought by the video headline that I was going hear about some children being abducted and that’s why I looked into the story.

Turns out they’re siblings going to take a (state test?) because they’re home schooled kids. Parents probably don’t have much money so the oldest boy improvised..

I just think arresting the guy in front of his sisters wasn’t necessary..

    86scotty and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

So this is normal behavior? I wouldmt do that to an animal let alone my own family

I’m guessing there was probably an inward camera in the truck and instead of asking permission this was his retarded idea to get the girls where they needed to go.
