Vegas called overpriced as Strip targets wealthy travelers rather average vacationers

Sounds wonderful, sometimes it’s good to be too poor to travel

 

I just never saw the appeal in it. I'd rather do something cool like build a car or bike with the money instead. At least you have something to show for it.

 

Yup, I buy tools or squirrel it away, I now have “might be a truck one day” fund. Got a long way to go, if not will turn into something useful/fun

I don't like gambling. Don't like live shows. I only drink two times a year, Memorial day in honor of fallen comrades an Veterans Day to celebrate the fact that I'm still alive. Hate buffets, crowds, hotels, cities, most civilians and crime.
So I couldn't care less about the prices somewhere that I would only go if I got paid to go.
Ok, I don't actually hate most civilians, I just don't understand them. And frankly, they rub me the wrong way so I try to avoid them.

 

Vegas for the rich and famous and the new money wannabe rich and famous. Just like Bugsy meant it to be. Its trying to go back to the 1950’s thru 80’s. Before they reinvented it to be families with kids friendly. We went 4 times between 2002 and 2005. The county fair and kindergarten playground feel back then sucked. And it was expensive back then.

 

You sound like me lol. I do everything I can to avoid seeing people unless I really want to.

 

To be fair, the $30 drink was at Hell's Kitchen. A little high, but nothing there is gonna be bargain priced.
