(Says the man who grew up mowing, it curing it, raking it (twice if got wet), baling it, hauling to the barn, stacking in barn, unstacking a few bales down to feed, hauling 2 or 3 bales out to a feed shed in another field)

We roll more hay than we can use. I’m bad to give some away to those that need it. Except for the large squares that go to Kentucky those folks buy all that they can get. Which I’m hoping to get 1 more cutting off of it this year. That field is off to itself though and way better kept than this mixed grass here.

Can confirm. Down here in South Texas round bales of coastal can easily fetch $60-$90 or more depending on how bad the drought gets, and alfalfa is even higher.exhausted379, Banker, Feedman and 6 others Thank this.
