Some had a hatch door on the front, some you reached in through the step or from the back as I recall. They are cool trucks, but I don't miss driving a cabover one bit. Actually driving wasn't bad, but trying to get dressed laying on your back, and having to open the door to pull your boots on sucks.

 

Not mention the slow and careful need for entrance and exit. A lot higher than a conventional.

 

Shoot I used to throw the door open and jump…could be why my knees are the way they are today

 

Don't forget that the dipsticks were about 6 ft. long

 

Yep I'd do the same thing, my dad would see me doing that and say " one of these days you're going to wish you hadn't done that when you get my age. He said the same thing about riding motorcycles with no mufflers. I hate it when he's always rite. Wish I had listened to him more.
