It's all manual. I have 3 different options. My drive airbags.
    1. Lift the valve up
    2. Raise the airbags on the trailer. I have 4 height levels there.
    3) Worst case but will take longer is: drop the trailer and change the collar, donut, plates to higher height. I have only 2 options there.

I tried using the lower level on the collar and that was a mess. The way my ramps are (2 inches lower than the deck/well), they were dragging dirt everywhere on dips/potholes. My guess is that I don't have the right truck because my fifth wheel is only 43 inches from the ground.

I am brand new, so please take this with a grain of salt. If I am mistaken in anyway, please everyone let me know!

Sounds like you know your options and how to use them if you need to get out of a bind.

I believe they make different heights of 5th wheel risers.

Thank you! I looked into it just now, and I will definitely get this done sooner rather than later.

That ew Wylie #### is junk freight going to
Brunswick. Pays 3800 on 1100 miles. I see you are starting out well at keeping the market depressed

Broker is Trinity. Rate is about what your saying. Broker is paying for permits. Would greatly appreciate advice on pricing. I asked my dispatch if this was the best we could get, and he said for same day load it was. He said all good loads in RGN are booked out weeks in advance due to permits. Also, I am very happy with this load. Gave me a practice run with the RGN. A little nervous with over width loads in construction zones. In my flatbed the over width loads are much easier to do, because my deck height was higher than the barriers and cones.

It doesn't take weeks to get permits unless you are trying to do really big stuff. Like more than 14'W or 14'6 high East of the Mississippi. Even then it's maybe a couple days at most. Loads under those dimensions usually issue within minutes if your permit person knows what they are doing.

I'm confused how that load even requires an RGN in the first place. A light weight stepdeck could do that all day and be 20K lighter which would save a good bit on permits and fuel especially crossing through TN. Thats if they even needed permits in the first place. Guarantee there's guys out there that could probably do it legal weight.

Taking a load that pays like #### just because it's what is available right now to get the truck moving is the wrong mindset to have.

Like was said earlier you want to run a specialized trailer but seem to be working for somebody who doesn't know how or where to get the correct freight for it. They are booking freight off a load board that is paying like crap.

I thought the same thing about why needing an RGN for this load. Personally I don’t see anything wrong with this load. Looking for some constructive feedback on rates.
