    I imagine it depends on the terminal, like I said we had drivers go from micro bulk to semi multiple times a week. Some only every once in awhile would they switch but it was never an issue and the pay was the same so everyone was happy.

    Yeah, it used to be that way and now microbulk drivers are dedicated to that position and are paid hourly instead of trip pay. Each terminal has at least one driver that can do both so he can cover when a microbulk driver goes on vacation.

    Yeah in California we were all paid by the hour. I’d hate to do this job paid by the trip, like fuel too many variables.
