"There should be warnings that this is dangerous"
No ####, it used to be common sense to not take a bath with electrical appliances.exhausted379, Numb, bryan21384 and 7 others Thank this. -
“Calls for prominent warning notices to be placed on all electronic devices about the risk of using them near water have been made following the death of a Dublin woman who was fatally electrocuted while holding a charging mobile phone in a bath last year.”
Personally, I’m thinking Joe may have had a hand in this..probably going to sue Apple now

I figured it was another country, in the US in newer homes that are built to code, its almost impossible with a GFCI. Although, Id never test to see if it works.

Didn’t they make the cords and receptacles impossible to that now?
I guess stupid finds a way.Carpenter Scotty Thanks this. -
I learned about this a handful of years ago when I was building my pool. A pool that isn’t properly grounded is deadly and there’s been more than a few fatalities in Florida over this.
Grounded properly or the gfci is useless and won’t trip.
Carpenter Scotty, nikmirbre and Goodysnap Thank this. -
Take all the warning labels off!
It won't take long and natural selection will increase the average IQ.
Just saying.exhausted379, JB7, Numb and 5 others Thank this. -
They use 240 volts over there on everything. That’s a lot of juice in a bathtub

Dang.....so it takes like 10 minutes or less to bathe right? She couldn't be away from her phone for 10 minutes?
