I find myself becoming more and more irritated with mega carriers.
Having been trained by a 3 million safe mile driver and in turn, going on to train successful new drivers.
Its become quite tiresome now, that the facility the small private fleet im on, has contracted prime for their OTR lanes.
It is utterly mind blowing the nonsense they do while also cheating logs and overall being incredibly dangerous.
You legitimately cant get more than 3 prime drivers together or they wil hit each other, I have witnessed this first hand multiple times along with the thousands in damage they have caused to our equipment.
Having worked in upper management prior to my driving career and been a otr trainer, I find my empathy slipping.
Sing the songs of wisdom.
On the brightside, it is nice to be able to help these rookies with mechanical issues that would cause them to lose hours waiting for roadside.
ways to keep yourself from becoming a super trucker.

You do you. Don’t worry about others other than avoiding them defensively.
in other words, your not the owner, let him worry about it. You’re paid to drive, do exactly what is expected of you to the fullest of your abilities.Lonesome, Opus, tscottme and 1 other person Thank this. -

They do damage to equipment on our yard all the time too. Too stupid to get out and look. Shouldn't need to but there ain't no shame in it. Drivers anymore just don't GAF back it up until they feel the scrapes/bumps and call it good.
