Swift is ok....for a rookie.
Schneider....well, not so much.
You are fortunate -- Dot Transportation will (also) require you (as I understand it) to reside within 100 miles of their nearest terminal.
If my math is correct...for your described location -- this would in fact be the case.

Thank you @lual ! Yes I'm within 100 miles from the nearest terminal. Just waiting for their response.
-
Suggestion: wait about a week...or maybe a little more.
If you don't hear back from them in/during that time window -- give them a call...& ask to speak with recruiting.
Once you get a recruiter on the line with you, simply say something like (after introducing yourself, of course): "I was just calling to check on the status of my application".
The rest of that conversation should pretty much take care of itself.
Meanwhile -- if you don't already have those tanker & hazmat endorsements -- start studying for them.
There are plenty of practice tests on-line for both of these endorsements.
You really shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket for practice exams.
I passed both tests with using just the free ones.
There are also some free practice tests here on the Forum.

Is the school you attended on the approved list for DOT Foods Transportation?
The key word here is APPROVED school.

I'm searching on LinkedIn as well. Robertson's application website has a glitch, error that won't let me go through.Chinatown Thanks this. -
If you can, go to the nearest Robertsons' terminal and ask for an application. Tell, whoever, the website isn't working.

This shows two locations near you:
Robertson's | Ready Mix & Aggregate Products | California

Also showing one in El Cajon:
215 Cypress Lane, El Cajon -

If you do pay them a visit -- & the website is back up & working then -- it could make you look clueless, incompetent, &/or less than honest.
Just ask for a driver application....instead.
