Soft steel. Milled down pretty good there to start. Not a true bore tho. What is actual # of a very, very few miles....
Would not want to buy used from his records.....

Well hell... If it was not "nearly ruined" and was "easy fix", it would not wind up at your place.
We were the place to go with a forklift in two situations:
It had been worked on by the owner, and a friend who "worked on forklifts and tractors and TV's and computers".......
Or he wanted it overhauled, engine/trans/hydraulics, or just serviced.. BUT done right and reasonable. .Fix it and call me when done.

And it was hard to live up to some expectations those 14 years....
You be proud. Always stick your hand out for payment in front, never have to reach behind.... Learn to say NO to a losing proposition.
We could not fix/make everything right either. Sometimes it is just not in the cards......

Here's a Euclid catalog. Section 2 has some good charts for identifying s-cams and kits.
