    Still 53 feet total but they steal 3 feet about from the belly and top to add to the tail.

    They make a longer one than 53 don’t they?

    I’ve pulled some DDL’s that were 13’10 with a lower tail and taller jail to help load bigger cattle. Some where I think I’ve read they run some quads a little longer in select areas out west but I wouldn’t swear to that

    I'm not sure. I've never pulled one. But I have noticed when they're unloading fats they only got 12 instead of 13 or 14. I don't bother cutting fats

    Back in our closed tandem days we’d load 21 and 21 in the middles and not load the nose or tail.

    I still didn’t load my nose on a spread. Them late model kids was sure thinking they was doing something putting 2 in the nose lol.

    You're talkin feeders...right? I haven't done a whole lotta feeders. most of the time there ain't a whole load to begin with.
    But fats are a full load I go 4 13 13 9
