We been hauling a load of beans a day up to the local elevator. This is a place you gotta go in while they sample cause there isn’t no automated system here. You also gotta climb the damdest set of metal anti slip stairs ever. Today I get in there and a hand from another farm that I’ve known all my life starts giving me the bidness about being fat. I tell him Mr ima bout put my dog on you. We all laugh and Andy says what’s that fat ####### gonna do to me. One the first things I taught Doc was bring me my boots and my hat. As a side effect later I learned he’ll bring me any ones boots even if they are wearing them. In this case flip flops. So I tell him bring me Andy’s boots…….its the little victories that matter ya know like watching your ol buddy hobble his tender foot ### down them metal stairs to his truck which put you gettin outta the sample shed ahead of him that matter.

 

Thanks I needed a good laugh this morning. Funny story.

 

The local appliance store finally took everyone's advise. Not much to see because it's early am. But he had it stuck.

I just finished last week, they kinda got away from me. Still had leaves on em, and the stalks were half green, 8.4% on the first load I ran in.
