Where is everyone #5

Those cats freak me out . We get the smaller bobcats at the house , they come around and hunt the rabbits and mice.. couple times ive walked outside not paying attention and get that feeling like somethings watching me. Doesnt take long to see it about 40ft away staring daggers at me .. no worries kitty ill just go back in the house.. lol and they are maybe half the size of a mountain lion if not smaller. And they say they dont attack humans but all i know is everytime i see one they look at me like im a big ol stack of pork chops

 

Friend in junior high school got attacked by a bobcat. It got him from behind, shoulders and back of his head. He would have been around 11 or 12 when it happened.
Not exactly adult sized when it got him, I remember everyone being pretty surprised by it though. Roy had a huge noggin, we told him the gravity of it just pulled the cat in

 

Yep, but way worse than a normal kid scream. It sounded bad

 

Even those “little ones” freak me out a bit too. I ve heard tell of some one having pictures of a birthday party for kids, and seeing a big cat in the background later when looking at the pictures. Never saw it, a heard it from someone who heard it from someone, kinda thing

 

When I worked in the woods there was an area we had to take pictures of cat kills. Saw elk kill up the hill 2-300yds in a stump farm hiked up to snap pictures (no digital or cell pictures then). Turn to head back down guy I'm with turns white- 2 cats crouched in the slash between us and the pickup.

 

"They's" are notorious for being wrong. Just think back to where "They" said or told something on you.
Why, "they" had the audacity to make comments on my driving ability years ago, imagine???

 

People down here who have talked with people that have heard them, say it it similar to a very frightened woman screaming.
Several people I have known; 30 /40 years ago, claim to have seen/heard them in the next county over (Itawamba).
Now them folks over there; refer to home, as being from " The Free State of Itawamba". So have to give some consideration....

Yeah that's a cat, bobcat can sound like that to though, make ya about crap yourself when they start screaming like that. Had one, one night, about 2-300 yards from my house start screaming and my dog looked at me and walked to the door to get in, I was laughing so hard she wanted nothing to do with that cat.

 

I've made it to Carbondale with a load of rock. Time for a nap
