Lots of trucking companies that do hire FL drivers don't hire below Interstate 4.
Dude, your age is the big issue, south FL is another issue.
If you "move" to north FL then you are locked out of the freight going just a few miles north into GA or AL. You are not real close to much agriculture that can keep you busy locally, regardless of age. Central FL has more agriculture. Does anyone know if ports require age 21+, moving containers is about the only thing I remember in south FL. It's almost like looking for driving jobs on the moon, except for beverage/food/service/waste/dump truckLast edited: Oct 10, 2025
